By purchasing you agree to the terms & conditions listed below.
Failure to read terms and conditions does not consider them void. All sales are final. 

 


We offer both a live arrival guarantee & a health guarantee. (Continue reading for more)
AquaTerra Exotic Pets is for wholesale and educational purposes only.
All sales are final no refunds or cancellations.


Shipping: We ship Monday through Thursday only.
Shipping is FLAT RATE! No matter HOW MUCH or HOW LITTLE you purchase shipping in only $49! (Larger items may not apply to flat rate shipping)


If I add an animal to my order do I have to pay more for shipping?
No! Contact us through our contact page and we will gladly help you add to your order, since shipping is flat rate, you are able to add to your order for no additional cost other than the animal and tax up until the night before the desired shipping date.

Dry goods are shipped separately from livestock.


All live animals are shipped overnight only!


All guarantees are void on orders sent to Alaska.


If you need to cancel an order we may offer store credit. We will not issue refunds.
Guarantees are void if the buyer misses the first delivery attempt.


Buyer must provide correct shipping information, failure to do so voids all guarantees.
Although we have years experience caring and sexing animals we cannot guarantee sex on any animal unless specifically mentioned in the listing title, or purchased for a greater amount. Address change by the customer will void any guarantee.

AquaTerra has the right to temporarily hold any order! Heavy shipping traffic, bad weather, flight cancellations and other factors may affect arrival. In the case we decide that it is unsafe to ship… We will contact you no later than the night before and reschedule. If the buyer decides to back out they will receive the full amount in store credit, we cannot issue a refund. These are live animals, we do not want to take any chances.
If temps at either end are below 32 or above 99 all guarantees are voided. We are able to hold animals until the temperature gets better. We will reach out to the buyer and plan a different shipping day. If we feel that it is still safe to ship but temps are out of range we may still ship and offer normal guarantee. This will be pre-discussed with the buyer.
We heavily recommend shipping to your local fed-ex hub, especially when temps near the highor low end of the range Orders may be sent with ice/heat packs to ensure they stay at a comfortable temperature.

Deposit:
On certain animals over $500 we may offer a deposit.
Deposits start at 25% and up. These deposits are NON REFUNDABLE. The balance must be
paid within two weeks of the first payment and will be immediately shipped the next available shipping day. To request a Deposit please reach the “contact us” page

Payment plan:
We do not explicitly offer a payment plan, but for animals $750+ we may be able to do a short term payment plan.
All payment plan money is NON REFUNDABLE.

Guarantees
DOA-(dead on arrival)

Please read carefully…
In the rare case an animal arrives deceased we will gladly replace, or issue a refund.
Conditions to qualify:
If shipped to home:
Must provide pictures (described below) and list of deceased animals within 2 hours of receiving
them.
If shipped & held at FedEx facility:
Must provide pictures and list of deceased animals within 6 hours of the box ARRIVING at the
FedEx facility.
All pictures MUST be provided & Clear:
- Picture of all 6 sides of the box with label
- Pictures of possible heat/ice pack used
- Pictures of packing material
- Picture of animal(s) on their back
Failure to provide pictures within the described time frame will void any guarantee.
We understand it may seem excessive, but it is important to pinpoint what went wrong so it
won’t happen again.

Health Guarantee
In the case an animal comes sick or injured please file a claim through the “contact” page or by
email joeyaquaterra@gmail.com
If shipped to home:
All pictures and a list of sick animals must be received within 2 hours of receiving them.
If shipped & held at FedEx facility:

All pictures and list of sick animals must be received within 6 hours of the box ARRIVING at the
FedEx facility.

These claims are examined case by case.
Discount or refund may be issued.
Tail drops do not fall under health guarantee.
Small scars do not fall under health guarantee
Warts/pimples/bumps do not fall under health guarantee
Missing nails do not fall under health guarantee.
Missing toes do not fall under health guarantee but may entail partial refund.
Mites do not fall under health guarantees. We do however kindly ask that you contact us if you
received an animal with mites.
Invertebrates with missing legs (example crabs, millipedes & more) Do not fall under health
guarantee.
Ticks do not fall under health guarantees.
Send back option.
In some cases we may request the animal to be sent back. The buyer must be prepared to do
so. Failure to return animals within 7 days of request results in a void of guarantee.
The buyer must follow all instructions on returning the animal(s).
Animals received more or less than 20% the advertised size are examined case by case, partial
refund/send back options may apply.

Other Terms & Conditions
The buyer agrees to provide the animal with adequate husbandry and care!

Buyer understands to NEVER release any animal into the wild.

Buyer understands AquaTerra Exotic Pets LLC is for business and educational purposes only.
The buyer understands they may be purchasing a live animal, it is their responsibility to do their
own research and make sure that they are providing the animal with the best care they possibly
can.
Description may include care tips, although it may be used as a guide we always recommend
doing your own research.
Although pictures may not be of the actual animal you receive (unless specifically stated) we do
take all photos ourselves, and make sure the animal is a good representation of what you will be
receiving.
AquaTerra Exoitc Pets LLC is not responsible for any vet expenses. If you do decide to take an
animal to the vet, it is at your own expense!
All tortoises and turtles under 4” are sold for scientific and educational purposes only.
There are no sales of tortoises or turtles in New Jersey.
We hold the right to deny sales to any buyer.
Must be 18 years old or older to purchase
We reserve the right to ask for proof of ID and permit verification.
AquaTerra Exoitc Pets LLC is NOT responsible for injury, illness, or death caused by our
animals.
We hold the right to back out of a sale and issue a 100% refund.
If an animal needs more time or doesn’t meet our quality standard yet we are not afraid to reach
out and discuss holding or issuing a refund!
If there is a case of the wrong order being shipped, the buyer is responsible for making sure the
animals are taken care of and or returned. We will try our best to make things right with the
buyer.
AquaTerra exotic Pets has the ability to delay an order as late as noon est the day of shipping.
We will try our best to communicate but in case of weather emergencies or other events, last
minute cancellation may apply.

In the case of a last minute cancellation we will reach out to you, the buyer will have 2 weeks toreschedule the shipping date. No refunds will be issued for delays. If requested, store creditmay be applied to your account.


AquaTerra Exotic Pets is not responsible for:
Animals refusing to eat
Animal temperament
Although we would never lie about an animal's temperament and feeding habit, sometimes the stress of a new home may offset their routine.
Refunds may take up to 7 business days.
AquaTerra Exotic Pets does not offer a refund or return policy on any products.
It is the buyer's responsibility to know your local laws and regulations. We will not knowinglysend an order in violation of these laws. If an animal is purchased that breaks any laws orregulation this will result in a refund. A 15% cancellation fee may apply.
AquaTerra Exotic Pets has the right to call/text the phone number provided in case of
emergency or issues with an order. AquaTerra Exotic Pets has the right to use the email provided in case of emergency or issues
with an order.
