Care: Pixie Frogs are large, heavy-bodied terrestrial frogs known for their impressive size, huge appetite, and bold personality. They require a spacious enclosure with deep, moisture-retaining substrate that allows for natural burrowing behavior. Provide a large, shallow water dish with clean, dechlorinated water. Keep the enclosure warm and humid while avoiding constantly waterlogged substrate. Feed a varied diet of appropriately sized insects and other suitable prey, along with proper calcium and vitamin supplementation.

Facts: Pixie Frogs are powerful ambush predators that spend much of their time partially buried, waiting for prey. They have extremely large mouths and are enthusiastic feeders. Males grow significantly larger than females and can become impressively heavy-bodied adults. During unfavorable dry conditions, they are capable of burrowing underground and entering a dormant state until conditions improve.
