Condition Note: These tortoises have chipped and/or damaged areas of their shells and are currently in the process of healing. The damage is cosmetic and does not take away from what makes these tortoises special. They came to us from a friend who specifically keeps imperfect animals. 

Care: Red-footed tortoises thrive in warm, humid environments with access to both a warm basking area and shaded retreats. They require adequate UVB lighting when housed indoors, fresh water, and a varied diet consisting primarily of leafy greens, vegetables, fruits, and occasional appropriate protein.

Facts: Red-footed tortoises are native to South America and are known for the beautiful red, orange, and yellow markings on their legs and head. They are generally curious, personable tortoises and can live for several decades with proper care.
