Mosasaur Tooth in Display Case

This specimen is a genuine fossil Mosasaur tooth from the Late Cretaceous Period, approximately 66–72 million years old. Mosasaurs were large marine reptiles that inhabited the ancient seas during the final age of the dinosaurs.

The tooth was recovered from the phosphate deposits of Morocco, a region well known for producing a diverse range of marine fossils. Like all natural fossils, each specimen varies in size, color, and preservation. Minor wear, natural fractures, or stabilization repairs may be present and are common in fossil material of this age.

The specimen is housed in a clear protective display case for storage and display.

Please Note: The photographs shown are representative of the quality and overall appearance of the specimen you will receive. Because each fossil is naturally unique, the tooth you receive will vary in size, shape, color, and preservation.
