Important Note

Many baby Argentine Black and White Tegus hatch with bright green coloration on their heads and faces. This green coloration is completely normal and will gradually fade as the tegu grows, eventually developing the classic black-and-white adult pattern. The green color is temporary and does not remain into adulthood.
