Care: Albino Common Snapping Turtles require a large, well-filtered aquatic enclosure with ample swimming space, basking access, and clean, warm water. Water temperatures should generally be maintained between 72–78°F, with a basking area around 85–90°F. They are powerful turtles that need secure housing and should only be handled when necessary. A varied diet of quality aquatic turtle pellets, fish, insects, shrimp, earthworms, and other protein-rich foods helps keep them healthy.

Facts: The Albino Common Snapping Turtle is an exceptionally rare color mutation of the Common Snapping Turtle. Its striking white to pale yellow shell and pink eyes are caused by a lack of melanin, making it one of the most eye-catching freshwater turtles in the hobby. Despite its unique appearance, it has the same hardy nature and strong feeding response as a normal snapping turtle. Adult snappers are impressive, long-lived reptiles that can thrive for decades with proper care.
